I am one with God...

As I navigate my journey, I am becoming more aligned with my purpose, focusing on serving others in meaningful ways. My aim is not just to generate success but to build genuine connections with individuals who live authentically and honor their own values and beliefs. I respect and appreciate diverse perspectives, but I remain steadfast in upholding my own principles, knowing that integrity is the foundation of my path.

Each day, I dedicate myself to personal growth, embracing my strengths, understanding my weaknesses, and working diligently to improve. This journey is not just about what I accomplish but about who I become—a person grounded in faith, purpose, and a commitment to making a positive impact on the lives of others.

From designing unique pieces for myself to becoming a trusted bag designer for friends, family, and boutiques, my journey has been  fueled by creativity, individuality, and an unshakable passion for bold expression.   In 2016, I launched my first online store, bringing my designs to life at shows, flea markets, and the dynamic streets of New Jersey, New York, and Washington, D.C. 

DRAMATREE isn’t just a brand—it’s a platform for self-expression. Every design is crafted with intention.  I Look forward to collaborating with  all the dope women who  blend creativity and off-beat styles that stand out  from the ordinary. With God’s guidance, we're rewriting fashion and inspiring a movement of unapologetic authenticity, one design at a time!

Coming from a large family of six children—five girls and one boy—I was the youngest of my sisters, often finding comfort in playing alone. However, when it came to arts and crafts, those moments became family activities filled with fun and excitement. Despite their demanding jobs, my parents made it a priority to spend quality time with us, whether we were attending church, gathering around the dinner table, or enjoying a family game night.

The skills, talents, and knowledge I've developed are a direct reflection of my parents' professions and work habits. My father was a jack of all trades—a professional cabinet maker, skilled carpenter, electrician, plumber, talented singer, guitarist, and organist. He was also a great cook and artist, embodying perfectionism in everything he did. My mother was a caregiver, seamstress, and artisan, known for knitting baby blankets and hats and designing our church dresses and personal items for both herself and others. Her love for crafting added a unique touch to our upbringing.

Growing up in a family with an entrepreneurial focus had a lasting impact on my siblings and me. The environment we were raised in and the experiences we shared during our formative years significantly shaped who we are today. Looking back, I realize that being raised by entrepreneurial parents instilled invaluable values in me—values I didn’t fully recognize until I became an entrepreneur myself.  

In 1997, my parents were instrumental in helping me establish my first hair salon. My father, a skilled carpenter and craftsman, took charge of designing and constructing the space. His artistic talent turned my vision into reality, creating a salon that was both practical and visually stunning. With his craftsmanship and my parents' unwavering support, I was able to take my first big step in the beauty industry, laying the groundwork for my creative and entrepreneurial journey. 

As a creative and popular hairstylist for over 25 years, I was fortunate to build a loyal following of clients who continue to support me in my current business ventures. Many of my loyal customers from my hairstyling days remain dedicated to my work today, and for that, I am truly blessed and grateful. After retiring from the hairstyling industry, I discovered my passion for fashion and began designing custom items, bringing the same creativity and personal touch to a new field that I had as a stylist. 

These experiences exposed me to the joys of creativity and innovation, fueling my passion for designing in an ever-evolving fashion world that amplifies love and self-expression. Each creation I produce is a testament to my upbringing, a reflection of the vibrant, artistic environment my parents fostered.

This journey is not only a personal endeavor but also a heartfelt tribute to my parents, particularly my father, whose memory remains forever in our hearts. His influence and legacy continue to inspire everything I create, making this path even more meaningful.
